Schwab's VISA CC offers 2% cash back. Best I've seen so far.

Schwab is a great card, but since it's not a starter card I doubt the OP would qualify for it at this point. The OP probably needs to go with a starter card and/or a secured card and maybe even throw a store card into the mix.

Every year I take a little trip with my cashback rewards from my cc on the purchases I made. I pay everything off so there is no interest. So credit cards are very good to me. But seriously you need to get some credit in your name, your going to need to have credit at some point in life. Just be responsible

o.k thanks everyone for the comments I guess I have to look for a starter credit card. Thanks again, If you can continue sending a message to this thread, maybe someone else can use this info also. Also can you add to your comment what are some good starter credit cards companies?

Credit can be great leverage to do things that will put you in a better situation. However, like any leverage it can backfire and cause you great harm when you try and deal with things well beyond your means. As long as it is used wisely and with care you can be better off, the higher cost of the credit the more careful you must be.
