Would anyone know or have suggestions/information on going about using a Debt Consolidation loan to combine five credit card bills into one large monthly payments?. Most of my card the interest is around 20 to 25% and I'm wondering if i combine them if it would help a little?

I do not use them no more which is good for me, bad thing is im stuck in a hole and im not getting no where All my bills combine up to just under 12,000 Most of that was medical, and travel, and pleasure items. What i mean by stuck in a hole is making payments, about 10 dollars above the min and getting no where.

Any help would be nice. Thanks, This is one of my biggest reason why im unable to relocate, but i have also thought about just adding to the mortgage on our new home, but that be far down the road, right now just looking for suggestions/help for short term.

Thanks
