I retired 20 years ago from Denver to Florida and have never changed my banking from telco credit union, number one for me is simplicity,ALL services available with no strings attached, real people to talk to.Never a charge for my account and paid a small amount of interest. Most important is FREE ATM anywhere country. The banks here are a joke.

Renault your thread is excellent - I started a thread regarding debt relief versus debt consolidation - the counselor obviously told me one is different from the other but would you know if it really is? I'm not behind on anything, but I am preparing for a move and would like to roll everything into one payment and was considering debt relief. I would like to buy a home in about 18 months so, it is very important that this does not appear as if i am going through bankruptcy. Will it? Please let me know what you think thank you very much.

My virus scanner did not like your first link. It detected a virus and blocked out part of the page, but I was still able to see the article. I'm guessing he is using some questionable advertisements. Just a warning.

Glad to hear it! I find it very useful for household budgeting.

Here's an interesting interview with Mint's founder.
