Default My life is so bizarre....

I was mopping the great room today. Turned around to go to the kitchen to rinse the mop and Panz was right behind me, cruising through the room. Without thinking any thing about it I said 'Hi Panz' and walked around him before he rammed my ankles. LOL

Went to the kitchen to rinse the mop and realized most normal people would probably be a bit shocked to find a 120 pound tortoise cruising around their house but to me it's normal every day winter life. How bizarre life can be and you just adapt and think nothing of it!

Panz, cruising through the living room....

I love your photos of all your pets - I was going to say "furbabies" but he's not a furry critter. Love them.

hes BEAUTIFUL!!!

were the same way, right now ive got a dog draped around my neck, one wedged between my tummy and the laptop a small parrot repeatedly saying "hi" to the cat thats sleeping ontop of his cage and a large parrot thats currently licking the fishtank...
all in a 400sqft space...
people walk into my apt and are flabberghasted, especially at my sever macaw who pretty much has fre reign of the room when im home (hes only clipped for height he can still fly)...but to me having a parrot fly over and steal a drink of your (decaff) Tea, WHILE your drinking it is perfectly normal!

Foxy I've always lived in a zoo too.

For a while I had a black tailed prairie dog that had free reign in the house. I had a red crowned amazon a long time ago. I had a mastiff and a GSD at the time and the amazon ran that house. I heard the two dogs whining one day and walked to the kitched to find the bird perched on their food dish eating their food. If they tried to get a bite he'd nip their nose.

This morning when I was feeding dogs, our terrier / BC mix foster boy was eating from the dish where the kitchen and mud room meet. Panz was just waking up and deciding if he was going to come in the kitchen. Poor Batman was afraid Panz would steal his food and would woof down a few bites and bark at Panz then woof down some more.

Life is never boring!
