Ball Python babies (what I'm hatching) usually weigh between 60-75g, and are around 1-1.5ft long. Here are a few pics of last year's clutch, so you get an idea:
The one Mojave
And a cute normal
About a month after hatching, with a year-old male (the dad)... hard to believe Julius was that tiny just a year earlier!
The first baby started to "pip" (cut their egg) today, so I have a few teaser pictures for you... looks like everyone's alive/healthy, and my odds are great with 1 normal and 4 mojaves! I'll post more photos when they begin to emerge, but here's a peek at what's inside:
The only definite normal...
The boobie egg, a mojave who's very much alive but small.
Not sure about this one - light normal or darker mojo?
Now THAT'S a mojo! Also has the dad's heart pattern... coolio.
Congrats. Can Mama snake babies have different Daddies? What do you do with the babies? Do they have to stay with Mama snake for awhile?
