Hi!

Any thoughts, tips or suggestions on training a cat to use the toilet? Is it really that much cleaner? I know it would save A LOT of money but what are the cons of this? How easy would it be?

Let me know what you all think!

This was a fad when I was a kid - I didn't know people still tried this. I'm not sure I'd like to leave the toilet seat up all the time. I suppose if the cats were good/consistent with it, it would be cleaner.

I can't imagine my cats ever accepting the toilet.

I don't know anyone who trained their cat to use the toilet but, it is a savings! Why would you have to leave the seat up? (may be a stupid question...)

He makes it seem like even a litter box is an enemy I'm not sure if I'd follow him %100 but thanks for sharing this!

I think it's a bad idea and not at all natural for the cats. I'd listen to what Jackson Galaxy says. IMO he really knows what he's talking about.

The cats could not be expected to lift it themselves, surely.

Well I would hope someone wouldn't expect that but the seat could stay down seeing how the hole is big enough for any droppings to drop in and this would be easier for the cat to stand on without straining to stand on the edge when the seat is up, making it more "comfortable".

I don't think it's natural either but that's why I wanted opinions . Still wouldn't listen to what JG says.
