Late last night (about 9:00), I was walking our dog in our suburban neighborhood, when another dog came around us with no leash and no owner in sight. I persuaded her to follow us home, so that I could put the leash on her, and then I finally located the owner of the dog by knocking on doors, so it had a happy ending.

However, I found this article today, and I am passing it on because if I hadn't found the owner, I would have been at a loss as to what to do, as we already have a dog (and a cat).
