I don't know that much about your area, but the Merrick Veterinary Group in Merrick, NY is a friend of us who own on the island of St. Maarten. They try to find adoptive homes for SXM cats who desperately need homes, so you might want to try them. I cannot vouch for them, but they do have a website so you may find the info that you need. I know there is another vet in the Long Island area who does the same, but I can't remember the name. I will post it if I come across it.
