My dog Cody a border collie has full range of stories.
A couple is I taught him to swim off a dock. So now whenever getting in the water - flat lake etc he goes out until he has to swim and then jumps straight in the air like off a dock into the water even though he is already in water. First time took him to the ocean he just kept looking at me confused why the lake was hitting him in the head... this took a few days to figure it out!

He is also my cat herder - any time a cat does something wrong I don't have to say anything he goes and makes them stop.

The weirdest thing he does is every am (yes he sleeps in bed) he has to lay on his back feet straight in the air for around 5 minutes till they fall back to his body. Then he is ready to get up for the day.

I had a dog that would sit in front of the refrigerator when she was hungry and would stick her head in it to have a look and a smell if you opened it when she was nearby.
All the dogs have taken to sitting in the computer room with me and jump up when they hear the " Goodbye" from AOL when I log off. Our dog now lays right under the chair with her head on the rollers so you have to avoid moving.

Harper does that too. He'll put his head between two rollers or his chin on top of one so I can't move.

He even turned off my computer yesterday when it was time for his walk. Not on purpose but he was excited and sniffing around the case and his jowls hit the power button to turn it off. I'm just hoping he doesn't figure out how to do it on purpose.

I guess I forgot to mention about my Rhodesian Ridgeback that he also loves to chase laser lights! I am really starting to think he thinks he is a cat!

He also loves to sit on things - - couches, coffee tables, PEOPLE!!! He has this thing that if you sit on the floor, he will come over and try to sit on your head!! Everyone in our family has fallen victim to this at least once!

We have a Maine Coon cat that "hugs" you, too! It is really cute, you pick him up and he will wrap his front legs around your neck and hug you!

My shiba and cairn are both talkers. I wake up every morning to a different noise. The cairn also likes to escape. She once chased a raccoon into another person's house (my husband had to grab it by the scruff and throw it outside). She'll also tackle geese, or jump into the lake and swim after them (in formation!). After a while, they'll start to follow her too.

The shiba punches people. My husband taught her to box, so now every time he gets on her level, she socks him in the nose. I taught her how to do parts of the dance from thriller...she does it when she has to go outside in the morning.

My siamese mix eats dog food. He picks it up, and eats it from his paw. But only the dog-bone shaped pieces. Also, if you give him a pull tab from a milk jug, he'll guard it with his life. If he loses it or the dog gets it, he'll have a literal panic attack until we find it for him. Once we had to go out and get a new gallon of milk to stop his hyperventilating.
