here in the outback of NM I think my fly strips get about 50 flys/day.
My rat traps and mouse traps average about 5/day.
My electric fly swater gets a few also...as I have my cool Coor's lite...simalair to patriout talk show host. Miss racket ball but love to swat those fly's and moskitos's (sp).
Oh, and I day spray around the house and out building for: black widows, scorpions, and other nasty spiders....and other vermin..
BUT I AM AGAINST ABORTION...SO STICK THIS UP YOUR PETA.
PETA NEEDS TO FIND SOMETHING IMPORTANT TO DO..LIKE THE WHALE KILLS, DOLPHIN KILLS, AND THE GORILLA POACHING...ETC.
PETA's strategy is just to get into the news any way they can... they don't care if they sound ridiculous, they think at some point their message will hit critical mass. They might be right; I don't agree with them or their tactics but it seems like the animal rights movement is gathering steam.
According to their web site, PETA believes "that animals are not ours to use for food, clothing, entertainment, experimentation, or any other purpose and that animals deserve consideration of their best interests regardless of whether they are cute, useful to humans, or endangered and regardless of whether any human cares about them at all."
PETA believes that no animal should be domesticated. No pets (as they are for our entertainment). No service animals (as that would be useful to humans). They would prefer to let all animals go free and live 'peacefully' in the wild.
If we could just convince all those released pets to be herbivores - then maybe they could reach their goal. I am pro-animal - but these people go too far.
