Oh, they're serious, all right. If there's any anti-per or anti-breeding legislation, they're behind it. That non-invasive species bill in Congress, which would restict the keeping of non-native species (virtually every species of pet parrot and tropical fish that people own) -- that's their baby, along with HSUS. They won't be happy until there are no animals in captivity in the US.
