I was wondering how long it would take to start blaming animals of CO2 emissions.

Well, are we discussing animals' carbon emissions or are we discussing whether or not it's okay to eat dogs and other animals often considered in the western hemisphere to be pets?

The article is about the carbon footprint of carnivores kept as pets, for the most part. Nobody is actually telling anyone to eat a dog.

It is about a new book tittled "Time to Eat the Dog: The real guide to sustainable living."

They would like us to only have pets we can eat because our dogs and cats have too

Yep, that's pretty crazy. People going too far off the deep end.
What gets me are the militant vegetarians/animal rights folks who own dogs and cats yet feed them commercial pet foods with...meat in them. Hypocritical much?
