I used to. I used to wrap up a box a catnip and let Bear (who has crossed the Rainbow Bridge ) open it. He did a good job, too. I used to buy those stockings that were full of toys and such but don't anymore because half the time they totally ignored half the toys that were in them.

Right now, my cats have all the toys they could ever want/need. I usually buy them a new toy whenever I see one that I think they would like-and it doesn't matter the time of year. But what I do for them on Christmas, Easter, birthdays, or any other special day is give them a can-usually Fancy Feast that I divide in thirds (one plate for each of them). They love that more than any new toy I can give them. It is funny because the two older ones tend to share a plate and then move on to another plate together. I don't think they realize that they each have their own plate. lol.

Every day of the year was Christmas for the dog. go to the pet store get the dog a new collar or dingo bones. always a super groom at the groomers so we looks so cute and she gives out a treat.

Chew bones for the dogs and alfalfa cubes for the guinea pig. There was a problem with opening early once by one of the dogs so we take extra precautions now.

All of our dogs have stockings loaded with treats, toys new collars and other hunting 'bling', lol.
