Dude, you ran this into the ground from square one by going the partisanship route right away. This woman is a sick hag, full stop. I don't care what party she may or may not belong to.
This is a story lots of folks around here are talking about. The kid brought home a bad grade in math and his mother made him execute his pet rat. No doubt a good Republican mom BUT do you think that this method of discipline is OK? What if it was a dog or cat as opposed to a rat? Should the government get involved? After all it is a private family matter.
Hey Kev, you need to read your own headline and get it right. Hamster, not rat. Ok?
You can bet that kid won't be getting any bad grades from now on. It is quite a harsh way to teach a child that there are consequences for his actions, wouldn't you say?
This kind of punishment is not going to endear this mother to her son. Quite the opposite. This boy will NOT learn the lesson that "school is good or education is good or it is important to get good grades". The ONLY thing that this boy is going to learn from this is that his mother made him kill his pet. So the mother has effectively NOT teaching her son the lesson that she wanted him to teach, so basically it was a complete waste of time and effort.
She better hope that kid is not a Scorpio, because someday she will live to regret doing this if he is.
I consider it pretty poor parenting no matter how you look at it.
i think that the 12-year-old needs some serious counseling, because i don't think most of us would hammer a family pet to death because mom said so........
the apple may not be falling very far from that tree without intervention.

why should our warmongering drone pushing government give a rats' ass ? Rumsfeld would get excited hearing this story, and Cheney would send the kid a box of rats, and a video camera...with 12 hammers.
at least the OP will have some company...
Seriously, how do people even come up with this garbage? Try going to the gym or something and work all the anger out.

They're coming to get you man. I see a very white future for you. White clothes, white walls, white floors, white uniforms on all the employees around you, and probably even a few white pills. The edge was that thing you just walked off BTW.
