Even in a story like this you have to ladle out your hatred for republicans?

Would it help if you looked upon this as a late term abortion of a rodent?

I said that the reason behind it was inappropriate. If the animal had attacked and bit somebody though, the appropriate action would be to kill it. And the "responsible party" should be the one to do it, instead of paying someone else to do your job.

That was my thought too - I think the kid needs to be kept WELL away from "mommy dearest" and needs counselling himself.

I heard about this yesterday and think that the mother is trully despicable and inhuman.
NOWHERE in the article does it mention anything remotely close to her being a Republican. Get a grip..

And I agree, everything about this story is sick. I'll never ever have a rodent be living as a pet in my house (ick) but any mother who forces her son to do that is not right.

This should be directed to KevK ... I wasn't the one insinuating that the woman was a republican.

For what it's worth, I would say I am a Republican (probably more Libertarian, but nonetheless...) and I would sooner hit that mother in the face with a hammer than hit a hamster.

Human beings get a choice in their action, innocent animals don't.

What a pathetic, worthless, sh***y excuse for a human being that fat cow of a "mother" is. I hope she gets hit by a bus and dies in excruciating agony.
