This is a story lots of folks around here are talking about. The kid brought home a bad grade in math and his mother made him execute his pet rat. No doubt a good Republican mom BUT do you think that this method of discipline is OK? What if it was a dog or cat as opposed to a rat? Should the government get involved? After all it is a private family matter.

obviously it is not ok. It is animal cruelty, which is against the law, not to mention the damage she did to her son, so yes, the law should get involved. WTF is wrong with people?

Oh geez... even a democrat would do that. You ruined your thread by adding the stupid bit about republicans.

Mom should be charged with animal cruelty and whatever else she can be charged with for forcing her son to do that.

Exactly what part of the article led you to believe she was a republican or that the hamster assassination was politically motivated?

It's pretty clear that mom's got issues but your preoccupation with making everything political might indicate to more than a few that you too may have some issues.

Wow, what a twisted world you live in that you can find a way to make this a partisan issue.

This would have been a good topic on either the parenting or pets groups. You've diminished the atrocity by attempting to slam repubs.
