Sounds like one of those retarded, inbred southern hick things. You know, a "liiffe lessson to make my chylle' not grow up all leeebral and soft-like."

Reminds me of some dude I used to work who made his 7 year old gut a deer with him to "teach him the reality of the world."

Oy vey.

Unhappy Police Say Georgia Mom Forced Son to Kill Hamster

WARM SRPINGS, Ga. — A Georgia woman is in jail after police say she forced her son to kill his pet hamster with a hammer as punishment for bad grades.

Police Say Georgia Mom Forced Son to Kill Hamster - Local News | News Articles | National News | US News - FOXNews.com

Forcing a child to kill his pet hamster over bad grades is acceptable to this mom? What next, the family dog? This IS heartbreaking to a child.

Here's one of our hamsters, Lacey. No way will she ever get introduced to a hammer.

This is just heartbreaking. No matter what kind of animal it was, it was a pet that the boy probably loved. Yes, the government should get involved. It ceases being a private family matter when a life is taken by the whim of some crazy old bat and it's also extreme emotional child abuse.

The reason is not appropriate, but I see nothing wrong with it in certain situations.

It's pretty clear that mom's got issues but your preoccupation with making everything political might indicate to more than a few that you too may have some issues.
Yep, some politicize everything. They have issues almost as bad as the ***** in the article.

So you are admitting that you like to torture and kill small animals?

Give the pet away...perhaps
Kill it herself.....horrible
Making the boy kill it.....unfit to be a parent
