I got bitten by a hampster when I was a kid and boy did it hurt like heck... Imagine what that guys teeth woul feel like if they clamped down on your finger!!

Exactly. He's cute and all, but so is the dog down at the shelter who's been bred for generations to live happily alongside human beings.

I agree. I didn't read the article. If it was abandoned by it's mother or it's mother died or something and that's how she came upon it and she's done her research and can properly care for it and give it everything it needs to be healthy, good for her. I just hope it wasn't some whim that someone had to have an 'exotic' pet. That always ticks me off.

i had hamsters, gerbils and even white mice as pets when i was a kid...... but this thing would be a bit much for me......
