exclusively a cat person here.

Dogs, much like children, are ok as long as they belong to someone else.

I am a cat person. However, we have two cats and one dog. The dog is really my husbands (he is a dog person). I do love my pup, but I don't think I will ever go from a cat person to a dog person!

Hmmmmm, actually I consider myself a horse person who also has cats & dogs.

Here is Shadow sharing her bed with Buzz a day after I rescued him

And here she is sharing with Nimbus (RIP)

Looking adoringly at my horse

Waiting patiently for the horse to move so she can follow

A split second too late to get a baby puppy Shadow being bathed by Mickey

There was a very important dog in my life when I was a kid (I still remember her often, and miss her) and I had a cat since my teens until last September when she died at the age of 18, leaving so many happy memories. I love dogs and cats equally. I'm even very fond of those that have no association with me!

Thanks for the pics everybody

I always considered myself a cat person, but then I got my dog Rudy... I'm still technically a "cat person" I suppose, although now I couldn't imagine life without a dog too. Oh, and snakes (I currently have 17) are my other love!

I'm neither a cat or dog person and I own both. I owned only cats for the longest time due to living situation but now that I have a home I'm happy to finally have a large dog too.

We always had pets while i was growing up and since married and have always had pets. Have had both cats and dogs, while i love animals so much, i enjoy both the personalities of cats and dogs, except you see, that cats seem to have a mind of their own, and they can become quite independent. While dogs, are your protector, love to play with you, are quite loyal. I love them both. Adorable furball kittens, adorable and cute, and utterly ridicouslay adorable puppies, i truly cannot resist either. But would have to say Dogs are my favorite.

I used to only be a cat person... had cats my entire life. I relate well to cats, know how to care for them, know their quirks, etc. Then I rescued the sweetest terrier mix and I cannot imagine living life without a dog!

I just wish my cats loved my dog as much as I do.
