We often joke about throwing the cats in a car wash for a good cleaning, but I never dreamed something like this existed! No, I don't like it. They make cleaning cloths for cats that you just rub over their fur; far less traumatic I would say.
When I was little, I tried several times to put the cat in the washing machine (it wasn't filled ... ) and got nicely scratched for trying. Wouldn't even dream of it!
I seriously thought of taking my dog to the car wash one day.
He had been out working and rolled in red clay big time [it was hot and if he needed to roll in mud to cool off, I was NOT going to stop him.......days like that I am glad I have a truck with a camper]
But, no - I did not do that but we did spend some serious garden hose time before I let him in the house for a bath.
That machine just strikes as cruel. Cats aren't meant to be bathed in that manner at all. Nor would I put a dog in one.
Boy i agree with you, cruel, to me also. I would much rather give personalize attention to my cat, do the job myself, can't see cats being bathed in this manner at all. Agree with you.
That's disgusting and just plain cruel! I would NEVER put my fur babies in such a thing! Especially an elderly cat or one with a heart problem.............
Yes to me it is also disgusting, and just plain mean. I cannot see putting any animal in this sort of thing at all, to me it would just cause more trouble then the thing is worth. I see problems for the cats, and if they are sick and you don't know it, this thing is a deal breaker, no good at all.
