I love your dog. It is so nice to see a lab that's not fat with little stubby legs. Beautiful animal. They are supposed to be athletic.

He is just adorable, I would have to kiss him often...if I could get him to stand still for it.

My cats are a little easier to kiss I imagine.

Default Thanks gator and gizmo!

I've been needing some tips on pet photography. My other chocolate puppy has the most beautiful green eyes I've ever seen, but I don't have a single photo that shows him off well. Now he lives far away, so I'll probably never see those eyes again.

Since acquiring a digital, I take lots and lots of photos on different settings, and I've gotten several good ones. However, it's nice to have some tips so I can narrow the odds a bit. It's especially nice to know that overcast days work so well, because I was thinking with such dark coats I'd need a sunny day with muted light.

OH Lennie is SO pretty, I am partial to black cats and the red goes so well with her fur...

Does she do well on a leash?
We have been wanting to try this with our cats but have not taken the plunge yet.
For now we have a stroller that we put them in.

Aw thank you. I take a lot of pride in keeping her fit. She is not a flabrador lol...She is very sporty and very driven...Sometimes I wish I knew how to duck hunt or something because I think she would be fantastic at it. Right now she regularly practices and goes to tournaments as a start dog with a flyball team and on occassion we go to dock diving events.

Thanks. I'm also partial to black cats. Lennie, whom I got from a pet rescue group is a small (7 lb) cat. As far as walking on a leash, she is OK, not great mind you. We don't walk her that often. The reason she has the walking jacket was that in 2005 my spouse and I spent a month in Toronto, Canada and had to bring Lennie with us. At home, she is an indoor/outdoor cat, but we knew that she wouldn't be able to go outside in Toronto, so we decided to purchase a walking jacket and take her outdoors. Because she was walking on a leash every day for a month, she got used to it and got better, but since we've gotten back home, we rarely use the leash, so her "walking on a leash" skills have gotten rusty. But we still have the jacket and know we can use it if necessary.

Oh, that's absolutely precious! I used to have a longhaired black cat with yellow eyes, named Gizmo (hence the screenname), and she was my BABY. Gawd I miss her...
