One of the 11 wk old kittens I have does the Halloween kitty thing. He's a short haired skinny black kitten, he part lays back his ears and humps up his back and raises his fur which turns out to just be the fur down his spine and fluffs his tail and walks half sideways at his brother. He looks just like a Halloween kitty!

Katie, our chihauhau, has several things. In the morning she comes out from under the covers, licks my face a few times, and then stairs at me from the corner of her eye trying to mentally wake me up for me to take her outside. She does this between 6:30 and 7:30am almost every morning. We put her bed next to our bed incase she wants to sleep there. So in the morning, I tell her, "Katie, let's go get your bed". She runs down the hall, flys into her bed, and rolls on her back. I scratch her belly and then carry her, bed and all, to the living room where she looks around to see where her mommy is. When she barks in her sleep, it sounds like a puppy's bark. My 84 year old father-in-law lives with us and has a home oxygen machine. She started laying next to the machine rather than in her bed. We later found out it was because it blew warm air from under the machine and it vibrated the carpet right next to the machine. She had her own personal heated vibrator. What I also find cute is when horses are at the back fence, she tries to put on a big show with her head held high, chest thrust out, and her scratching the ground as if ready to attack and making barking growling sounds.

My ferret is leash-trained and we walk at night around the neighborhood for a couple hours and he's fascinated with plastic bags along the curbs.
The other night he was sticking his head in a sack, a sack handle got stuck in his leash, and he took off running, annoyed the sack wouldn't come loose, and the faster he ran the air would fill the sack up like a baloon!
He was so frustrated, but I was helplesss to do anything until I stopped laughing!
He's also the first ferret I've had that loves water, sloshing around in puddles, and the streams of water along the curbs. Splish-splash, splish-splash!

My red-lored Amazon parrot, Theo, is quite the character!
I had a party once, and one of my friend's boyfriends started feeding him Flamin' Hot Chee-Tos: his favorite human food. I told him to hold off, because too many aren't good for him, and Theo got pissed... he makes this kind of low grunt/growl, sort of a "breeeeeeech" sound, and did this...
The next day, I had him out as I was going about my business, and I noticed that he was standing in one area in the middle of the floor, next to an end table with a box under it. He was looking straight at me, but when I acknowledged him, he would look away like nothing was happening. After seeing him do this a couple times, I knew something was up. I turned my head but kept my eyes fixed on him, and this tricked him. He went behind the box, out of view, and I heard crunching - he'd hidden a chee-to behind it and was eating it! When I said his name in "that" tone, he dropped it and started telling me off - it's the parrot equivalent of cussing someone out, he looks at you and starts all these angry honks and squaks at you.
I took the chee-to away, and when I came back, he had another! It turned out that at some point the night before, he'd been crafty, and had managed to get four or five out of the bag and hide them for later.
Also, he likes showers, so a couple times a week, I'll take him in with me and splash water on him. When I do, he tends to get on my shoulders and uses his wings to cover as much of my head as possible to keep me from getting wet.
And on a note related to the Flamin' Hot Chee-To's... they stain everything red. A few months ago, I was giving him a bath and scrubbing his foot, when I realized that only his left foot had red on it - he holds it sort of like a corn on the cob with that foot. Incidentally, I'm left-handed... my little buddy is a lefty, like me!

My shih tzu mix, Elmo, LOVES recliners. I love when we go to anyone else's house and he will walk over to their couch or easy chair and stare at the foot area. When someone sits there, he goes into a crouch and gets ready to jump on the recliner footrest as soon as it pops up. Of course, not all sofas are recliners, so then he'll get mad at the person and start making huffing sounds and pawing at the floor.
I also like when he gives his older buddy Payton, a bichon mix, kisses when I am petting payton.

My GSD came over to me on the couch and smacked me with her paw. She usually does that when she needs to go out, so out we went.
Instead of going to the potty spot she pulled me around the side of the house and sat directly in front of the water spigot. I turned it on and she lapped up a good amount of water. When we came back in the house I checked the water bowl, and sure enough, it was empty. She didn't know how to tell me the bowl was empty, but she knew where to get water. She's always doing something that surprises me.

My cat will come up to me and just stare. I use to not GET IT but now I say---What do you want, show me. She jumps down and I will follow her. She looks back to see if I am coming. She runs to her food dish and it will be empty.
My other cat would push the dish out into the middle of the floor to tell me it's time to refill.

We have two labs, Bear and Angel.
When we go though an automatic car wash, at the end when the dryers come on, they both shake off....as if THEY had been wet.
They do this every time.

My cat lays on his back against the wall upside down and stares at you, "What?"
