Hi,
Just wondering how many days/hours I could work in Philadelphia without having to pay the Phila City Wage Tax.

I live in New Jersey and work in King of Prussia, PA. I need to work from our Philadelphia offices a couple of days a week, but would like to know how many days/hours I could do that without having to pay the Phila. City Wage tax.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

I don't know your situation or how things work on that side of the state. Around here we pay wage tax to where we live.

I am pretty sure you would pay the wage tax on all hours/days worked in Philadelphia, regardless of the number.

That's correct. It will be taken out of your pay for any time you spend in Phila. There are no tax forms for you to file with the city.

To the OP it depends on where they cut your check. If you are paid out of KOP the city doesn't have to know about time you spend there and they will never find out.
