There are probably dozens of "Pretzel Mans" in Philadelphia, Even if they were on a particular street corner its hard to differentiate between them.

Yes I do remember your dad he had the cleanest pretzel stand in Kensington. Located on the southeast corner of K&A. The pretzels were always fresh, and it was always a downer on the days when he wasn't there. I was told that my cousins' wife was related to him.

I think I remember him. Was this back in the mid 80's? I also remember a guy that had a cart, kinda like an old radio flyer cart. He would pull it around full of pretzels wrapped in brown paper bags. He would ring a bell early on weekend mornings and shout out "fresh pretzels!" "get your ready fresh pretzels!" He use to work around the Ascension of our lord parish neighborhood.

Thank you very much for the wonderful things you said about my dad. I am real curious who your cousins' wife is that may be related.

Thanks for writing back. I don't think that was my dad. He had a pretzel stant at the corner of K&A. Looked like a little house.
