Job Ideas?? Relocating Back to Philly Area
I grew up in South Jersey, but left to attend college in Florida. I majored in Criminology in school and have my bachelors degree. I am relocating back to the Philly area in a few days and I'd like to find a job ASAP. I am in the process for a few federal gov't jobs and some others in my field, but they all tend to have lengthy background investigations which can take up to a year or so. I need to find a job immediately and I'm willing to work in any field which I am qualified to do so.
Does anyone have any suggestions of places to apply to? I currently have an interview lined up at a casino in AC and I've been checking out monster, careerbuilder, and comcast job postings. However, I know that many companies recruit through their own web pages. I need to make a minimum ok 30-35k to start. Thanks for any info you may provide for me in advance. I can't wait to get back there..South Florida is extremely overrated.
My previous experience includes 2 years working at golf courses, about 2 years of retail, and 6 months working as a bar back.
