Interested in Pennsburg,Cheltenham and King of Prussia (Philadelphia: school district, live)

My family and I are looking to move to one of these towns next summer. I have checked online in regards to housing etc. It seems as if Pennsburg gives you more for your money. How is race relations there?

I see that there is very little diversity in the city as a whole. I do not want this to determine what city we choose but I would like to feel as if all are welcome.

Of the three places mentioned, you will definitely find the most diversity in Cheltenham. It is very close to the Mt. Airy section of Philadelphia, which is a very diverse area.

Pennsburg is a fast growing area, but still not racially diverse. I live about 20 minutes or so from Pennsburg and we looked into that area when we decided to move here - to Lehigh County instead. I think what you'll find is that while there may not be too many people of color in the area there won't be much prejudice. In our un-diverse school district there is not much distinction between races - everyone hangs out together.

Your money will go further in Pennsburg and my experiences with the area are that it is quite diverse. I have helped a number of families relocate to the area from the innercity. Racial tensions are nonexistent and the population growth continues to increase the minority population annually.
