Maybe they're talking about the tiny bridge on 179 through town?

The 202 bridge is definitely tolled one way.

Hello,

I know this is an old thread, but I was just curious if you ever did the move to New Hope and the job at Temple. I live in Lambertville (across bridge from New Hope) and am looking to be doing a commute to UPenn via train (likely from Yardley).

Wow you have my sympathy. Can't you find someway out of that nightmare?

I live in Northeast Philly. The only way for me to get to New Hope by public transportation is to take the SEPTA Lansdale/Doylestown regional rail train.
At Doylestown there is a connection bus service, Trans-Bridge Lines that connects Doylestown and New Hope (about a 20 minute ride).

People who work/study at Penn can take the Regional Rail to the University City stop. Am not sure if all trains go there; if not, you should be able to transfer in Center City.
