The election is in Nov. Michael Nutter will win and become the mayor in January. He has to be better than John Street.
Zehua - are you now in the city? Did you use Dave's limo?

To elaborate a wee bit , while the general election is in November, the Democratic party essentially runs city politics. With the exception of Sam Katz in the 90's (and former Mayor Frank Rizzo's party switch in the 80's just before he died), I don't think there have been any significant Republican mayoral contenders since the 60's. So the Democratic primary election this past May essentially determines the next mayor ( former City Council member Michael Nutter) and the November general election is a formality for that office.

I am coming in early August. Dave's limo is good, but regarding my luggage problem, I am thinking of mailing some luggages in the airport and then take Dave's limo.
How long will it take for Dave's limo to get me home? Two hours?
How much do I need to pay for USPS to get a 23 kilogram luggage mailed from Newark to Philly?

Probably about two hours depending on where they have to drop off other passengers. You would have to either send your luggage by FED EX or UPS and that would end up costing you a lot more money than paying the extra amount to Dave's. I also don't know if you can do that from the airport.

Thank you. So I will call them and book the service tomorrow.
If they take me to the front door of the house, and the landlord happens to be not there, will it be very dangarous to stand there for sometime like 30 minutes? It is 45th Larchwood, and yesterday I heard someone robbed there by two blacks.

Around what time will you be arriving. You should be ok, but if it's late at night you probably don't want to be standing outside with your luggage. Maybe you can contact your landlord once you arrive in Newark and make some sort of arrangement for him to be there or leave your key with somebody in the building.

thank you newmarlig. I have decided not to use Dave Limo. I will take the train to philly. It is not really comfortable to travel by car.
