Hi all,

My cousin works for one of the best hospitals out here in NY as a RN. She has over 10 years experience. Currently she works 3 days a week at 90k a year. She will be relocating to Philly area and will like to know how much less she might be making. She is a baby nurse that is pretty much all I know.

Also best places to live more suburbs like with great school district, she is looking to rent no more than 3k a month.

Thanks

She should at least be making between $85,000 and $90,000 with 10 years experience, however that's working night shift 3 nights/week. Keep in my cost of living is def lower here. HTH

cost of living is much lower here. Two bedroom rentals in Lower Merion (one of the top school districts) start at around 1200/month. In NYC metro, that won't even get you into a nice neighborhood let alone a decent school district.

I'd check out allnurses.com in their Penn section. They frequently post salaries there.
