Default Montgomery County (Norristown) Relocation

I'm trying to find areas with safe, relitivley inexpensive (about $220,000) housing. I'm currently in my last year at Ursinus College, most likely moving on to Temple next year. My fiance is working out of the King of Prussia mall. We are looking for some thing convienient to both Phila, and King of Prussia. We looked at a few places in Norristown, than seem nice, but i'm worried about how safe the neighborhood would be. Any knowledge on Norristown, or any suggestions on area to live would be a huge help...thanks

You really don't want to live in Norristown. I would suggest looking in Plymouth Meeting, somewhere on the Main Line (you can take the R5 train to Temple - go to SEPTA and look at the R5 schedule) or Manayunk.
