Default Looking for rental in Delaware County

I'm looking for a rental that's pet (cat) friendly and a walkable distance to public trans and want to spend no more than $700/mo. Maybe somewhere in the general vicinity of Clifton Heights, Lansdowne, Yeadon?? Actually, I'm pretty flexible there.

I can find complexes on the internet, and that's ok, but where can I go to find private owners, as well?

Any suggestions welcome.

By the way, I'd like to move in sometime during August.

I lived in Barclay Square in Upper Darby for a number of years. It's not glamorous but they allow cats and it's convenient to a strip mall with a supermarket and drug store as well as the 101/102 trolleys heading towards 69th Street.

Can't help you with private owners, though.

Delaware County smallest of the Philly five counties! Although small its has the third most population in the area.

Here is my list of towns you might consider!

Eastern Delco- Upper Darby, Clifton Heights, Landsdown, Haverford

Western Delco- Glen Mills, Media, Springfield, Nether Providence

North Delco- Villanova, Havertown, Marple Newtown

South Delco- Ridley, Aston, Chichester, Chester(Widener Area)

Default Carolyn................

Try Ath Dara Apartments, they allow cats and the rent is what you mentioned. Also right down the street from train, library, police, and some cute small specialty shops, etc.
