Our family is thinking of moving out of Somerset Count, NJ to Bucks (Buckingham). The living cost/housing market seems to be about the same as most of Nj and we of course would like to make a move and be alittle ahead financially while staying close to our family in NJ. Are there a recommendation of other areas to look at the have good schools, close to a walkable town, and strong family community?

I think you'll find that part of Upper Bucks to be a little cheaper than Somerset County, at least in terms of real estate. Doylestown is picture-perfect, to me, but is pricy. Newtown Boro is a really nice area, and is 5 minutes off route 1 (1-2 miles above the PA Turnpike). Also, you might want to check out Langhorne and Richland, or even Yardley.
