Trio Cold Cuts, in Woodlyn, PA, MacDade Bvd., just off Fairview Rd, is a small Italian grocery. They also offer, not one Italian hoagie, but nine different kinds of Italian hoagies. Highly recommended. If you like extra-sharp prov, you wanna go there.

Another place is in a strip mall across Swede Rd. from a Jiffy-Lube-type place on Germantown Pike, W. Norriton. Forgot name, but their Italian hoagies are 1st-class. Real Italian cold-cuts used.

Default West Oak Lane has those steaks!!!

Paganos on Ogontz Ave in West Oak Lane or Explorer's Den beside LaSalle Univ. Both of those places give you about a pound of meat. In my 31 years, I can honestly say that I never eat cheesteaks from anywhere but those two. Well, I had to try both Pat's and Geno's once and those things are horrible.

I'm a NW Philly boy, so I was spolied growing up on those 1 pound cheesteaks. Anything that weighs any less just seems like a waist of money to me. I'll admit, the meat may not be the best quality, but I'm a quantity over quality type of dude when it comes to food. That's the problem with being cheap!

SLACK'S HOAGIE SHACK!
I don't even like hoagies...unless, of course, they are from Slack's!

"best sandwich in philly" by food hunter (1 review)
April 28, 2008 - I tasted them all ,from south philly to the northeast, and the best sandwich in philly is DeNofa deli on torresdale and tyson. Every thing there is home made. From the homemade sausage to the roasted peppers. they even have tomato pie just like my mom used to make. And the homemade desserts are out of this world.

Jim's on South Street is probably my favorite, but D'allesandros (so much meat) and Spataro's are great also. I like Geno's and Pat's but there are definitely better spots.

Shank & Evelyn's have my favorite hoagies, and Dinic's makes a great roast pork sandwich.

Default Best hogie and cheesesteak como shops

Diffentely most places in Delaware county will give you either a good hoagie or they make a great cheesesteak take your pick. Couple of places is Phil&Jims in parkside and Leo's in Sharon Hill and others in Ridley Park and Prosepct Park, Media. How about the cheesesteaks at Citizens Bank Park. Poor people from out of town think this is a good cheesesteak. Try the Burbs you can't hardly miss. I grown up on Pats and Geno's; not dishing them they are good also.
