Makes sense for the Northwest.

There are plenty of attractive areas further than 44th though

48th and Cedar

48th street is too risky for me and rather stay between 44th and 40th. I want to stay as far away from 52nd street as possible

You've said this before and I really think you should investigate the neighborhood. 46th between Spruce and Baltimore is one of the most beautiful streets in the whole city, for example. East of 42nd and you get lots and lots of student housing and more apartment houses.

A lot of the ones from South Jersey try to overcompensate by getting drunk and kicking newspaper boxes and punching flower pots.

How about the River Wards (Fishtown/Port Richmond/Bridesburg)?

How about me? City dweller or not? Your statement makes no sense. Its impossible to tell by body language., People are people no mater where they live. How about your brother? What distinguishing characteristics do us suburbanites have that is different then you?

The northwest's farness is exaggerated. I make it home quicker from center city than some co-workers who live in south philly.
