My fmamily and I are trying to decide between these 2 areas to potentially move to. Tomorrow we are driving through to check the areas out. Any recommendations on restaurants or places to go to check out shopping? We don't mind driving to the surrounding areas since we are expecting to spend a good portion of the day. Thanks

Chadds Ford is mostly chain restaurants. Bone Fish Grill,Bertucci's Brick Oven,PF Changs,Lone Star, California Tortilla. There is a new sports bar themed after the Roman Coleseum called Chubby Balboas in the Concordville Town Center. If you want a more formal restaurant The Concordville is on Rt 1 + Rt 322.

West Chester has a bunch of independent restaurants downtown, thats only 10-15 minutes N of Chadds Ford. Walk down Gay or High Street.. Iron Hill Brewery is a local chain restaurant/brewery.

Dont know much about Doylestown other than you wont have any trouble finding good restaurants there. Great town.

Good luck.

There is the Dilworthtown Inn, and Pace One, there are elegant dining in the chadds ford/west chester area. The main shopping centers in that immediate area are Brinton Lake which is more upscale, and then the concordville town center right across the street, that is more bix box. And of course downtown west chester has a lot of boutique and art gallery shops.
