I mean that I love these new projects but I also love "old" things like mom and pop bookstores owned by local people.

Yep, agree. It's great. The surface parking lots at 34th and 38th and Market are the last pieces for the science center to develop.

I don't know how any city can claim to be making the kind of transformation that philly is right now.

And, as I mentioned, there are infrastructure projects going on deep in W. Philly. Nothing happened out there for years. I was shocked actually when I saw it. New sidewalks being laid, gas upgrades, water upgrades. At 52nd and Haverford, for instance. And a lot more places.

I read not too long ago that there is so much construction going on, that construction companies are having trouble hiring experienced construction site managers.

Yep, I live near that. Thanks for the aerial view.

Haven't heard anything new about the next Klipton hotel that's slated for the old Family Court bldg.

Very true. Drexels Construction Management program is one of the only majors that has 100% job placement 6 months after graduation.

Was that taken from 3 Logan by any chance?

No updates on that, but Hilton has already begun the renovation of the 4 Seasons.
