Because it's a core planning issue and instances like this are an abomination. Highlighting it continues to shine light on a corrupt and poor process that leads to these types of developments. In other words, she's using her influence to put pressure.

Agreed. And this flies by, yet Post Brothers had to file suit in order to win their warehouse conversion project. As of recently she has called out a lot of development news/ wrongdoings.

I would love a 9 story apartment tower, but this is something from Route 66 in the middle of Fishtown...

How many times can you call out boxy rows of SpongeBob SquareBay-fronted townhouses as bland, boring and uninspired?

Ask her why she seems to ignore most of the city and most of the people in it. I bet if I asked her, "Where is Andorra or Morrell Park ?" she'd have to look them up.

Aren't there issues relevant to the future of the city in those places too? Zoning? Infrastructure?

She wrote an article about the rehab of the old Provident Mutual Bldg at 46th and Market and the decision to not make it the PPD hq afterall. Tbh, it sounded like she had never been on the MFL before or how close it was to CC commute-wise.

Perhaps, but she found her way to the Sawtown Tavern in Tacony just fine.

(Yes, I know the gay couple who own it, with Scoats of Grey Lodge/Hop Angel Brauhaus fame as a silent partner).
