lol, sarcasm that is true unfortunately. Would certainly be a big boost for the nightlife. All those New Yorkers coming down like their 4am last call.

I think I may have said here at some time in the past that I frequently map my native state onto my adopted one and vice versa.

Kansas City's convention and tourism folks also pushed for bar closing hours later than the state-set time of *1 a.m.*

St. Louis interests weren't all that concerned about this matter.

The resulting legislation allowed municipalities in the state to keep bars open until 3 a.m. in "convention trade zones."

I'd be game for one.

I've met one regular (PhilliesPhan2013) recently and another (ElijahAstin) about a year ago now, but there are some others I would like to meet in person. (One of them, 2e1m5a, has expressed a similar desire in private messages but neither of us have moved to effect it. A group meetup is a highly efficient way to bring such meetings about.)

Edited to add: DAS Architects is really good at creating interesting public meeting spaces in hotels and apartment buildings. I look forward to seeing the finished product.

Lets do it can discuss suburban advantages of silver/purple vs R in generating commuter (discounted) fares or bank consolidation and name changes or even just have a beverage

All that said I am not a good logistics planner, better at ideas, and maybe an occasional imbibe

and yes excited to see this space, May and June evenings might be great

Yes-we are overdue sounds like a good idea. I'm somewhat of a hibernator in the Winter so am excited to get out and about in the Spring when the city comes alive.
