I highly doubt he will. All these casino plans never move past the "phase 1" slot barn stage. The developers have no incentives to build further, since that's the quickest, cheapest, easiest moneymaker in the proposals.

Keep in mind that Sugar House was approved before the state gambling law was revised to allow table games. Those attract bigger spenders than slots, and casino builders usually like to add amenities that would appeal to those customers to their projects. The reason Wynn is in the bidding as well as Blatstein is because of the table games; those also make hotels justifiable. Wynn doesn't build slots barns.

17th and Vine is the new Morman Temple - maybe 1601 Vine though but based on that article maybe the old Best Western lot

At best, it would just be another tower virtually identical to his other ones in other cities. He's even said so. Personally I'd rather see something more unique in Philly, developed by a local guy a la Blatstein , than for it to be a "franchise" building that's in anytown, usa.
