They got bought out by some Texas oil company. Said company is keeping Sunoco's offices in Philly... for now at least.

Wow, and I read the links properly.

Did not realize someone would just decide to buy a company that is in the Fortune 100. They are ranked in the 60s in Fortune 100, with 5B market cap.

That was always somewhat of a desert. open wirh nothing to break it up.

Yeah need to check it out myself, drove by it but not walked. Maybe this is one more step in cnnecting the parkway in a more pedestrian friendly way. The new Morman temple will fill one corner and the Barnes another

What a great addition to the Parkway! I can definitely forsee this being a nice gathering spot and the cafe doing very well.
