My family and I are relocating to the Philadelphia suburbs this summer. We'll be looking for a house in Abington, Jenkintown, Rydal, or perhaps Huntingdon Valley or Meadowbrook areas. We have a daughter who is 4 1/2 (and won't be starting kindergarten until fall 2012) and a son who is 2. We're looking for a great child care center to send them to part-time. Right now they attend the Goddard School where we are, but the only Goddard School we see in that area is in the far northern part of Huntingdon Valley, which will likely be pretty far from where we choose to live. We would love to find a great Montessori school or similar. The options in the area that I've seen (in my online research) so far are Meadowlane Montessori and Jenkintown Day Nursery. If you have any knowledge or experience with these schools, please share with me. Of if you know of any other options we should look into, please pass the info along.

Thanks!

Depending on where you move, right on the inside of NE Philly near the park is CORA Early Years. It's a great preschool. My kids went there. Granted, it won't work if you are too far away, but parts of Abington/Rockledge/Hollywood are only 5 min. away from it. If you are close enough, I recommend checking it out.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll definitely look into them. My husband will be working in NE Philly, so CORA could definitely be an option. JacksonBradu, do you know the name of the school you mention?
