Default What exactly is at the Race Street Pier?

I was riding past it yesterday and I couldn't get a good look at what was actually over there. I heard about this Race street pier on the news and wondering if anyone been there?

Yes, I've been there. Just think of it as a park built on a pier:

looks a lot like what hoboken did on their waterfront. good idea, especially since center city lacks open space. hopefully they are able to keep the undesirables out of the park, which they seem to have successfully done in Franklin Square.
