Anyone have an estimate on how long it would take to do a commute from Ambler to Bala Cynwyd? Best routes?

I assume I need to rule out a drive on I-76 given the horrendous traffic.

You can't get there from there LOL. That is probably why no one is answering. Actually Butler Pike will take you all the way through Conshohocken, across the bridge to Rt 23 (Conshohocken State Road) which winds it's way back to Bala. I have no idea how long it would take. Rt 23 moves surprisingly fast, Butler Pike not so much.

I guess it depends on where you are in Ambler. If you are by Rt 309, one option is to shoot down 309 S down to PaperMill Rd, then Stenton then to Lincoln Dr to meet up at Rt 1. Some are terrified with Lincoln Drive but that was the route I used to get into the city from Lansdale everyday back in my college days.

Otherwise, Butler Pike is a good option and I used that route as well coming from Plymouth Meeting.

I got hauled into a meeting at mid-post, LOL.

Butler Pike to Conshohocken and across the river, then Conshohocken State Road would be the most direct. I've never driven the whole shebang at rush hour. Butler Pike can gum up around Plymouth Road and Germantown Pike around that time of day.
