These towns are quintessential upscale suburbia that are very safe, even with very close proximity to the city.

Our family friends own Algar and I still dont see those cars too often. They're mostly in Gladwyne and Villanova I would imagine. Probably why I dont see them much.

I would say both are relatively safe. However I have noticed more agressive police patrol in the area as a result of increased criminal activity in Lower Merion Twp as a whole.

Yes. Nitpit perhaps, but neither are cities; they're towns. The adjacent Phila. neighborhoods, right across the city/suburb border, Wynnefield and Wynnefield Heights are safe too. All these places have beautiful, well cared for homes.

Wynnewood is safe. There was a recent, minor issue with day time break ins, but I think that's been squashed.

And I think the new play thing for the rich is a Tesla. I see those everywhere now.

Where does Wynnefield Heights begin? East of 54th Street? Or are you using "Heights" as synonymous with Upper Wynnefield (as opposed to Lower Wynnefield)?

Ah, okay. I've seen it on Google Maps and heard others mention it on this forum, but have never heard anyone use it in everyday conversation.

That's how you can tell who's from philly and who's not. If they use Wynnefield Heights, they're clearly not born and raised in philly.
