Default Lansdowne, PA

Just got home from spending the whole Labor Day weekend in Lansdowne, PA moving our youngest daughter into her first apartment. Was pleasantly surprised by the quaintness of the town. Lots of shops, cafe's, eating places, supermarkets, pharmacies; everything within walking distance. And everyone we came in contact with was very cordial, friendly, and helpful. It's a very artsy town it seems, they have a annual Arts & Crafts festival, and boast of a 75 piece symphony orchestra. All in all I think it will be a nice place to live. Just my 2 cents.
Have a great day everyone!

Default Thanks for the heads up

I was checking out this town on the internet. It seems like a nice place. I currently live in WV. Although it's beautiful here, there's not much diversity and the job market is very, very slow. I was looking for a small town/subarb that's close to a major city. I may have found it. I'm glad to read about someone's first-hand experience there. It sounds like a great place for me and my 2 boys. Thanks again for sharing.
