Default Southern Chester County to South Philadelphia

I just started traveling from southern chester county to the Philadelphia naval yard for work. I take route 1 north, to 322 to 95 to the naval yard. But 322 is really killing me. It takes me 1 and a half hours to get to work and 1 hour and 45 min to get home thanks to all the backed up traffic on there. Is there anyway to and from Philly that gets into chester county but bypasses 322? That road is insane. I usually get to 322 by 7:15 am and getting home I get there about about 4:45 or 5pm. Are there some unclogged back roads that maybe most people arenít aware of?

Thats an awful commute.

You could try this. Might save you from sitting in traffic but is probably a little more out of the way and not sure it might get you caught up in 95 traffic rush hour traffic.

Try getting off at 202 S to (92 E?)Namans Road. Namans takes you to 95 at the Pa/Del border.

Even more skeptical is taking Rt 1 all the way to the Blue Rt(476) Take that S to 95. Dumps you off in Ridley park.

Good luck.
