I don't know if I'd agree with that based on my experience - then again, my ice cream tastes are pretty basic and bland - but kudos to a Philly original.

Coldstone is all about the mix-ins. The ice cream itself is too dense and bland. Creamery ice cream is loaded with fillers and preservatives--not bad by commercial brand ice cream standards, but I've had much, much better.
