The opening shot of the movie, and video, show a City Hall area before it was transformed by Dilworth Park.
And the burned out hulk of the Meridian Bldg with the tarp on top. Ugh. Today that spot contains the Residences of the Ritz-Carlton and, still rising, W Hotel.
I haven't watched it since they first came out. Would be interesting to see how it's changed.

Here’s a good one, going to be filmed here but set in NY.

17 Bridges starring Chadwick Boseman (the Black Panther)

Quote:
Follows a disgraced detective in the NYPD who is given a shot at redemption. Thrust into a citywide manhunt for a cop killer, he begins to undercover a massive conspiracy that links his fellow cops to a criminal empire and must decide who he is hunting and who is actually hunting him. During the manhunt, Manhattan is completely locked down for the first time in its history – no exit or entry to the island including all 17 bridges.

Creed 2 ended up being a pretty big commercial success.

Rocky Balboa has offically retired for good. Quite a run he went on.

Shazam, the upcoming DC super hero movie, is currently shooting around Rittenhouse and causing a ton of traffic ha.

Oddly enough, my fiance and her friend were walking around one day and there was a sign posted on a building that basically said email this address with a photo and you can be an extra. The next day she got a call from the people, and she ended up being paid to be an extra. So we are looking forward to the release of 17 Bridges lol.

Brian DiPalma, who went to Overbrook HS, directed that film. I agree. It's a good one.
