We are looking to move from Chapel Hill, NC to the general Philly area to be closer to our 2 grown children (NYC & DC). We seem to be drawn to the area between Chadds Ford and Chester Springs, including the Toll Bros Byers Creek carriage home development. In this economy we're not crazy about buying new construction but I'm equally not crazy about a lot of home maintenance and their design is appealing.
Can anyone comment on shopping (T. Joe's, Wegman-type grocers, decent malls, etc), gyms with good classes, and golf in that general area? Saw something from RainRock earlier that was quite useful (including pics!) but would like a bit more specific info. Thanks in advance.

Granite Run is probably the closest regional mall...... on Rt 1 in Lima. If you go to the websites of your favorite stores (like Trader Joe's or Wegman's) they should all have store locator options to see if one is close to you.
