For anyone who is interested, that neighborhood is called Eastwick and it is not a bad area at all, . It just happens to be more suburban than city which some people like and others don't. It is very convenient to Center City, I-476 and I-95 and I-76. Like any suburban area you will need a car.

under no circumstances am i promoting living there and certainly not taking public transportation there after dark
